Why people kill themselves

Poker is not a sport. That is all.

ok, so here's what happened. I am tired of playing cards, and decide that I am going all in blind on my next hand before I even get my cards. I also promise not to look at my cards until all the cards are dealt out. Adam Rosenberg, the author of this blog, decided to call me with ace queen of diamonds. Flop comes, King of diamonds, Queen of clubs, and an 8 I believe. Then the turn is six and the river is a 6. So Adam has two pair, with Ace kicker. I then look at my cards and immediately break into hysterical laughter because I had pocket Queens.

It was without a doubt the luckiest hand I have ever been involved in or ever plan on being involved in. What I did was stupid and in all honesty was designed to knock myself out of the tournament because I was tired. For all you kiddies out there, NEVER PLAY POKER LIKE YOUR UNCLE PESCI.

It's like I said: 95% of the people that claim that poker is about "skill" are full of shit, and the 5% that actually use their skill realize that their luck is generally more important.
